RYA Stage 3. You will have passed stages 1 & 2 and will be growing in confidence as you will be consolidating on launching and recovery skills and learning new capsize drills and on completion of this stage, you will be able to sail a triangular course as a sailor, not as a beginner.
The course will cover how to rig the boat, gybe and recover the spinnaker. It will look at the best possible course for downwind. Due to using the feva dinghy, we will only use the asymmetric spinnaker. The assumed sailing and background knowledge for this course is to the standard of Level 2 or 3 course.
